Rusty Metal 1

This was the first attempt I did at making a procedural rusty metal texture. Using Blender's material node system, I created a material that can be applied to practically any object of any shape to create a rusted metal. The first attempt took basic roughness and color into account, something I would iterate on in the next version. Made in Blender 2.8.

Wood Grain

While creating wooden objects, I kept running into the problem of texture seams with wood textures I would create. To remedy this, I took it upon myself to create a procedural wood texture that would automatically wrap itself around any object it was applied to without having to worry about UV seams. The first iterations are quite promising. Made in Blender 2.8.

Rusted Metal 2

After creating the first rusted metal, I found myself needing a metal with more weathering and depth. With these new requirements in mind, I created a new procedural rusted metal texture that now had additional surface detail for use in outdoorsy metal structures or any metal that had been worn. Made in Blender 2.8.

Painted Metal

While I was creating my Robo rig, I once again found the metal texture I had lacking in a little extra character. Because of this, I took my basic rusted metal texture and made a couple tweaks to it. Namely, I used the black and white levels from the bump to create wear and tear in a layer of paint I applied on top of it, thus creating a weathered painted metal. Made in Blender 2.8.
